PROJECT #2 - TERM #2
For Term #2, Students will be working individually in creating a poster
with the tittle: ABOUT ME. In this occasion, each student will be writing sentences
in Spanish that describe themselves and their friends. Students are required to
print pictures of themselves/friends to glue them to their poster. The poster
is provided by the school.
Likes, dislikes, family, origin, physical descriptions, friends and their descriptions,etc.
Students will be working on their projects during allocated time in their Spanish class.
The first weekend of December, students will be taking their projects home to finish
up their last details.

PROJECT #1 - TERM #1
PROJECT #1 is about creating a SPANISH POSTER during class time.
Each POSTER contains: weather, seasons, months, times and all the SPANISH vocabulary that we have covered during this TERM. (UNIT 1 from theTEXTBOOK)
Each student will use class time to organise the vocabulary needed, draw some pictures and make it as nice as possible!!!
There will be a short presentation of 5 minutes where each student will talk about his/her POSTER.
WHEN: during class (25 minutes each class) on the first week of October 1st-8th.
WHAT: bring along pictures, sentences, ideas to use for your poster
WHO: each student individually
HOW: during class time, using paper, scissors, glue, colours and other resources
RUBRICS: each project will be graded individually. Creativity, content and presentation will determine the rubric.

- 3 points: project contains at least 30 words and expressions in Spanish. It includes all the learned vocabulary topics. Oral presentation is in Spanish (with some introduction words in English). Poster is fully made in Spanish and contains pictures and Spanish sentences.
- 2 points: project contains at leas 15 words and expressions in Spanish. It includes most of the learned vocabulary topics. Oral presentation is in Spanish and English.
- 1 point: project is somehow accurate and contains at least 10 words and expressions in Spanish. Oral presentation is given in English. Poster also contains some Spanish words and expressions.
- 0 point: project is not finished and/or oral presentation is not offered by the student.
